If, as often happens, the tools for assembly of the stage are not present (they may either be in the room under the pit area in a blue Rubbermaid Roughneck tote), place the stage sections on the floor upside down roughly where they are on the chart and place the legs in the receptacles. Most are tightened with an Allen key but there are a few that have been changed to a hex bolt. When all have legs, turn them over and arrange as shown in the Floor Plan. Fasten the sections together with the clamps. At each end of the front half, attach the stair units and clamp them as much as possible. It is usually found along the wall in the hallway outside the gym and goes on <a href=\"#Definitions\">stage left<\/a> under the scoreboards. Note: Curvature is due to panoramic distortion, in reality it&#8217;ll be straight.&nbsp; (click to enlarge)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Backdrop Uprights<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The backdrop and scoreboard are assembled from the triangle supports and the 2&#215;4&#8217;s slotted upright into them. Use the above image to see the numbering and placement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-be285f74b8d86ce5ee233763dd9a640c\" style=\"color:#ff0000\"><strong>\u26a0 Supports will not stand up on their own so they must have human support until the horizontal supports are screwed together.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to make assembly easier, assemble supports <strong>1\/5 and 5\/5 first<\/strong> with 2 people holding them. Place the bottom plywood horizontal support flush with 5\/5 and screw it in. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Place support 1\/5 against the inside of the rightmost <a href=\"#Definitions\" data-type=\"internal\" data-id=\"#Definitions\">stage right<\/a> leg. Screw in the horizontal brace to 5\/5. This will secure the frame and allow you to install supports 2-4 more easily. Do the same for supports 1\/4 &#8211; 4\/4 on the <a href=\"#Definitions\">stage left<\/a> side. Both horizontal sections will have a small overhang on the right sides. Finish by securing the middle supports of each section to the horizontal supports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 5: Scoreboard<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1433\" height=\"769\" src=\"https:\/\/mbrobotgames.ca\/mrgwp\/files\/backdrop-gap.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2981\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mbrobotgames.ca\/mrgwp\/files\/backdrop-gap.jpg 1433w, https:\/\/mbrobotgames.ca\/mrgwp\/files\/backdrop-gap-300x161.jpg 300w, https:\/\/mbrobotgames.ca\/mrgwp\/files\/backdrop-gap-1024x550.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/mbrobotgames.ca\/mrgwp\/files\/backdrop-gap-768x412.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1433px) 100vw, 1433px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The scoreboard sheets are added to the <a href=\"#Definitions\" data-type=\"internal\" data-id=\"#Definitions\">stage left<\/a> end first with 1&#8243; round head screws starting on the top rail with the sheet protruding high about 1&#8243;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#ff0000\" class=\"has-inline-color\">The white scoreboard sheet should overhang the bottom and top horizontal rails by an inch<\/mark><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This will allow the paper sheets to be clamped to the scoreboard. Continue with the second sheet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 6: Curtains<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Affix the brackets<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The &#8220;Z&#8221; brackets need to be affixed to the top of the upright supports 1-5. Lay the assembled pipe across the stage as you will need 2-3 people to help with the next steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Slide the curtain on<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The metal pipe should slide into the sewn pocket in the curtains. Once they are all on, hang the rod from the brackets we affixed earlier (most of you will be male and not have the drape hanging gene so try to get them looking like the waviness is relatively even across the whole length :).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Scoreboard curtain<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This curtain sits below the scoreboard and will be pulled taught. Affix both sides using provided thumb tacks into the 2&#215;4 uprights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Banners<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Place the two MRG banners at the back corners of <a href=\"#Definitions\" data-type=\"internal\" data-id=\"#Definitions\">stage right<\/a> and un-roll them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Front tables and bottom skirt<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/mbrobotgames.ca\/mrgwp\/files\/stage-skirts.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"442\" src=\"https:\/\/mbrobotgames.ca\/mrgwp\/files\/stage-skirts-1024x442.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2993\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mbrobotgames.ca\/mrgwp\/files\/stage-skirts-1024x442.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/mbrobotgames.ca\/mrgwp\/files\/stage-skirts-300x129.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/mbrobotgames.ca\/mrgwp\/files\/stage-skirts-768x331.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/mbrobotgames.ca\/mrgwp\/files\/stage-skirts.jpeg 1314w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Completed stage<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Run the skirt around the front of the table in front of the stage. You can affix the skirt to the table using masking tape. Also, run the skirt around <a href=\"#Definitions\" data-type=\"internal\" data-id=\"#Definitions\">stage left<\/a> and also use masking tape to affix to the stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, place the flat blue sheet over the front trophy table to cover up the top and the masking tape.
